Women’s Counselling / Stopping the Violence Program

Provides mid-range counselling and related support to female survivors of childhood abuse, sexual assault and abuse, and violence in intimate relationships. Counselling is offered within an accessible, safe, non-judgemental, and supportive environment and delivered through a trauma informed, empowerment model in person, over the phone, and in groups. The program also works from a partnership model with other service providers to better meet the needs of all women.

Children Who Witness Abuse Counselling

Helps children who’s emotional health and self esteem have been impacted by witnessing abuse.  Teaches non-violent ways of conflict resolution to help end the inter-generational cycle of abuse.

Child & Youth Mental Health / Sexual Abuse Intervention Program

Provides therapeutic response, assessment, counselling, referral and follow up services to children and youth under the age of 19 who may be experiencing mental, emotional or behavioural difficulties or have been sexually abused. These services include screening and assessment, treatment of identified mental health issues, case management, case planning and appropriate referrals, support for caregivers and clinical consultation. Preventative and educational programs to improve the quality of life for children and their families in our community are also provided.
