Welcome to the 3rd annual Kootenay Mushroom Festival, a celebration of all things fungal! Expect guided forays, expert-led workshops, an artisan's market, followed by dinner with entertainment.

Held in beautiful Kaslo, BC on Saturday, October 12th, the Kootenay Mushroom Festival promises to be a fun-filled and informative day for young and old, mycophile and soon-to-be-mycophile alike.

Featuring guided forays in our local forests in the morning and expert-led sessions around town all afternoon plus a mushroom-themed artisan’s market, everyone can find something to enjoy here, whether your mushroom IQ is “what colour is a lobster mushroom?” or “can we talk about dikaryons again?”

There’s also a FREE mushroom-themed artisan's market on Saturday, and an optional dinner(separately ticketed) after Saturday's activities.

Come out and be part of the biggest party of the year for everyone’s favourite kingdom!
