Community Action for Prenatal and Child Health (CAPCHP)
The Community Action for Prenatal and Child Health Program (CAPCHP) provides activities and resources to increase community capacities and improve the health & wellbeing of families with young children, from pregnancy to age 6. We serve the communities bounded by Edgewood, Trout Lake and Silverton, and work to support new parents and families experiencing geographic or social isolation; financial stress; health challenges; and trauma.
Our programs include community events, family drop-in activities, parent education courses, individualized supports and program referral services.
Family Drop-In Playgroups
The CAPCHP program has been pleased to offer drop-in playgroups in recent months, with a range of inside and outside activities in different communities. It’s been so much fun meeting families and playing together! Join our Facebook Group - www.facebook.com/groups/capckids/ for up to date information and programming.
This program is sponsored by the Government of Canada.
