Women’s COUNSELOR

During the past nine years that Debbie has been part of the ASLCS team she has filled the roles of Safe Home Program Coordinator, Stopping the Violence Outreach Worker, PEACE program coordinator and counselor and now the Stopping the Violence Women's Counselor.  In this current role, she has initiated and continues to participate in the creation of a local Sexual Assault Resource and Response Team (SARRT) protocol.  She is also trained in, and authorized to, assist with Third Party Reporting-an anonymous reporting option for survivors of sexual assault.  Committed to providing a more holistic approach to the counselling experience, she offers Trauma Sensitive Yoga free to all clients in the program.
