Home Support

Arrow and Slocan Lakes Community Services Home Support Program helps those in the community that require personal care and home support services.

Home support services assist clients with activities of daily living including: bathing, personal hygiene, hand and skin care, continence management, mobility and transfer assistance.

We assist clients with instrumental activities of daily living, including assistance with nutrition/hydration, assistance with meal preparation, and assistance with cleaning as a risk reduction strategy.

We also provide safety maintenance and monitoring, including client household support, organizing and/or management activities focused on reducing, eliminating or monitoring risk or potential risk to clients.

In addition we assist with tasks in support of the Strategies and Actions for Independent Living (SAIL) program.

All workers must have their Resident Care Aide Certificate and be registered and in good standing with the BC Care Aide Registry.
